i woke up this morning and headed down to check on the garden. little snails were eating our beautiful lettuce! i feel like the garden warrior...trying to protect my little greens. i came back to drink up my morning coffee while perusing an issue of Gourmet magazine that i checked out from the library...dreaming of all the yummy freshness we'll soon be cooking & eating.

you can put out cups of beer for the snails to drown in. It works!!!
